Integration of Theology and Practical Ministry: Residents will read various theology books related to ministry/mission and reflect on the theological implications for their specific context. Residents will develop a philosophy of ministry that is biblically sound and contextually sensitive.

Involvement in Christian Community: Residents will benefit from personal interaction with other ministry leaders in a context of learning, personal spiritual growth, accountability, and honest evaluation.

Utilization of Ministry Gifts/Skills: Residents will have the opportunity to explore many different facets of church ministry and utilize their God-given spiritual gifts to encourage others and build up the church.

Assistance in identifying long-term ministry placement at the conclusion of the internship.
