ministry opportunities

Crossroads is a church that values maximum participation among those who attend. We are a growing church and we always have plenty of areas for people to use their gifts to glorify Jesus Christ and encourage others in the walk of faith. Here are a few questions to consider as you seek a meaningful place of service at Crossroads: *What are your interests and passions? *What spiritual gifts do you have? *What volunteer position is the best fit for your personality?

Here is a list of current Ministry Teams at Crossroads:

HOST Team (greeters/ushers): The HOSTS provide a warm, hospitable greeting to those who attend the Sunday morning worship service. HOSTS assist in bulletin distribution, collection of the offering, and serving of Communion.

Worship Team: This team consists of vocalists, guitarists, drummers, and keyboardists. If you have musical skills, a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, and a desire to help lead others in worship, this team is for you!

Sound/Video Team: This team helps to facilitate meaningful worship experiences by running sound and video for the Sunday worship service. If you are computer savvy or like to run sound, this team has a place for you.

Facility Maintenance Team: If you have a servant heart but prefer to help "behind the scenes", this team might be a great opportunity for you to serve the church in a very practical way. The Facility Maintenance Team helps to keep the Crossroads facilities clean through routine cleaning and simple mainteance projects.

The Village Nursery Team: This important team provides a safe, nurturing environment for children birth through 3 years of age. In order to help ensure the safety of children, all nursery workers must undergo a background check, fill out a volunteer application, and have a brief interview prior to serving in The Village nursery.

The Village Preschool/Kindergarten Team: This team works with children ages 3-5. In order to help ensure the safety of children, all Village volunteers must undergo a background check, fill out a volunteer application, and have a brief interview prior to serving on this team.

CrossTown Kids Team: This team works with children in 1st through 5th grades. In order to help ensure the safety of children, all CrossTown Kids volunteers must undergo a background check, fill out a volunteer application, and have a brief interview prior to serving on this team.

Rooted Student Ministry: This team works with Middle School and High School students. In order to help ensure the safety of students, all Rooted volunteers must undergo a background check, fill out a volunteer application, and have a brief interview prior to serving on this team.
