Crossroads Community Church is partnering with Solid Rock Temple of Faith (Haitian Church in Orlando) and Emmanuel Baptist Church (in Haiti) in the remote Northwest region of Haiti to help provide much needed post-hurricane relief in the areas of water, food, medicine, and seeds for crops. While the Southwest part of Haiti experienced tremendous damage and loss of life from the recent hurricane, the Northwest region is also in great need due to the storm and this area is particularly difficult to access because of its mountainous terrain and lack of quality roadways. People in Northwest Haiti are suffering from lack of clean water, food, and basic medical care. The hurricane also destroyed most of their crops and the next planting season starts in mid-November. We want to provide seeds so people can plant them as soon as possible. Here are the details of the Crossroads Haiti Relief Project:
Total Project Fundraising Goal: $10,000
$6,800 for a 4 day mobile medical clinic in the Northwest region. This medical clinic will provide care for 800-1,000 people in 4 days.
$1,200 for food (bags of rice, beans, flour & gallons of cooking oil)
$1,500 for seeds (corn, beans, etc.)
$500 for water filters for church and school
Please note: 100% of funds raised will go directly to meet the needs listed above. Crossroads has trustworthy ministry partners “on the ground” in Haiti to facilitate the work that needs to be done. These ministry partners will be documenting the work and providing reports.
